Neisha Potter, a married and devoted mother of four, brings her extraordinary compassion to her Licensed Clinical Social Worker role. Her professional experience in mental health, spanning Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, and Florida, is a testament to her dedication. As the owner and mental health provider of Fern Ridge Counseling, LLC & Wellness Center, she has led the practice to win the 2024 Best of the Big Horn Basin award, the Best of Cody 2024, and the 2019 Best of Cody for Mental Health Services. Her entrepreneurial spirit and excellent leadership show her relentless passion and love for people. Neisha also volunteers her time as a writer and professional contributor on mental health for Clash Daily and Cody Living Magazine. She is an American Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Volunteer, a member of the National Association of Social Workers, and a member of the Middle East Psychological Association. She has been inducted into the Societal Collegiate of Achievement and Leadership for academic excellence. She is earning her Ph.D. at the elite Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a major in International Psychology, which compliments her already well-rounded experience. She is well-versed in culture and diversity and has had the incredible privilege of studying abroad in Morocco. She is currently embarking on a journey of studying abroad in both Germany and Japan, embracing new opportunities for growth and learning. She earned her master’s degree in social work from Walla Walla University. She completed a double major with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Psychology and Christian Ministry at Dallas Baptist University. Using clinically tested and evidenced-based interventions, she treats clients with depression, anxiety, sexual abuse and trauma, relationship and marital counseling, children and adolescents, family, insomnia, anger management, personality disorders, low self-esteem, and grief and bereavement. The helping profession is precisely where she is meant to be, meeting people right where they are with a nonjudgmental, empowering, and personalized approach. Her extensive training further underscores Neisha Potter's expertise. She is Certified in Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP), Certified Equine Assisted Learning (EAL), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a Certified Substance Use Provider (SUD), Certified Personality Disorders, a Certified Mood Disorder Professional (CMDP), a Certified ADHD Professional (ADHD-CCPS), a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS), and a Gottman Specialist Level 2 Certified. She is trained in Oppositional Defiant Disorder and Conduct Disorders (ODD), Christian-Based Counseling, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Play Therapy.
