ZOE PEARSON, PMFT
Zoe Pearson was born and raised in Cody, Wyoming. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology with a minor in criminal justice from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Additionally, she holds a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University and is a Provisional Marriage and Family Therapist.
Ms. Pearson is excited to have concluded her internship at Fern Ridge Counseling, LLC & Wellness Center. She has developed into a highly skilled counselor, gaining valuable experience in working with couples, families, children, and individuals. She has successfully assisted clients dealing with a wide range of behavioral health concerns, trauma, marital issues, vocational challenges, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and self-esteem issues. In addition, she offers Christian-based counseling when requested. Ms. Pearson is deeply dedicated to helping others and holds a strong belief in the significance of couple and family relationships. Ms. Pearson has received her Level 1 Certification in the Gottman Method, an empirically based technique for couples counseling with long-term efficacy studies. She is also a Certified SYMBIS Facilitator and has completed Youth Mental Health First Aid training. She has received training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Neurofeedback, Play Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Bibliotherapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Client Centered Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Certification (ASIST). |
