WHAT IS CHROMOTHERAPY?

Chromotherapy, also called color light therapy, is the process of restoring balance to the body by applying color.

We use medical-grade chromotherapy that is very powerful, using 96 LED lights with an array of 12 colors – red, green, strong blue, orange, green, blue, strong yellow, strong indigo, strong pink, yellow, indigo, and violet.

It relies on the premise that each color is associated with a different bodily response.

For example, red is typically associated with stimulation, while blue is considered a mentally relaxing color.

Color light therapy uses colors for their proposed wellness abilities in treating emotional and physical disturbances. Color therapy is based on the premise that different colors evoke different responses in people. For example, some colors are considered to be stimulating, whereas others may be soothing. Color therapy has been suggested for many uses, based on tradition or on scientific theories. Consult with a health care provider before using color therapy for any use.

Red Light Therapy

What is Red Light Therapy? Red and near-infrared light are part of the electromagnetic spectrum, and more specifically, part of the spectrum of light emitted by the sun. These wavelengths of light are “bioactive” in humans.

Red light between 600-700nm offers benefits for skin texture and tone, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, promoting collagen production and generally rejuvenating the appearance of skin and hair.

Near-infrared light (NIR) 700nm – 1100nm penetrates deeper into the tissues to assist with wound healing, muscle recovery, nerve injury, and joint pain.
Benefits of Red Light Therapy
  • Reduces wrinkles, fine lines and age spots
  • Reduces stretch marks
  • Promotes wound healing and tissue repair
  • Improves facial texture
  • Promotes hair growth
  • Increases melatonin / improves sleep
  • Improves muscle recovery and energy levels
  • Improves joint health
  • Reduces pain, swelling and inflammation
  • Improves psoriasis, eczema and rosacea
Red light therapy works in skin health to:
  • Stimulate collagen production, which gives skin its structure, strength, and elasticity.
  • Increase fibroblast production, which makes collagen. Collagen is a component of connective tissue that builds skin.
  • Increase blood circulation to the tissue.
  • Reduce inflammation in cells.

Infrared Benefits

Our sauna uses infrared panels instead of traditional heat to easily penetrate human tissue, warming your body before heating the air. About 20% of the heat in an infrared sauna warms the air, while the remaining 80% heats your body. This radiant heat penetrates the skin more deeply than conventional saunas.
Benefits of Infrared Saunas
  • Better sleep
  • Relaxation
  • Detoxification
  • Weight loss
  • Relief from sore muscles
  • Relief from joint pain such as arthritis
  • Clear and tighter skin
  • Improved circulation
  • Help for people with chronic fatigue syndrome
  • Improved appearance of cellulite

Respiratory & Health Benefits of Halotherapy

Halotherapy, also known as dry Salt Therapy, is a rapidly growing holistic treatment that simulates the microclimate of a salt cave. Clients breathe in tiny salt particles that quickly reach every part of the respiratory system, including the smallest alveoli and bronchioles. The dry salt molecules then dissolve and attract small impurities, often called the lungs' "toothbrush". Salt therapy can target the root causes of inflammatory respiratory conditions in both the upper and lower airways, such as asthma, bronchitis, and allergies, by killing bacteria and helping restore health and immunity.
Respiratory and Immune Health
Salt has antimicrobial, antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory properties.
It helps open bronchial tubes in the lungs.
It aids in reducing inflammation in the sinuses and small airways, breaking up and clearing mucus.
It increases pH levels, reducing acidity.
Common conditions treated include:
- Asthma
- Allergies
- Chronic bronchitis
- COPD
- Hay fever
- Cystic fibrosis
- Sinusitis
- Smoking cough
- Various acute or chronic respiratory diseases
- Snoring and sleep problems
- Cold and flu
Salt therapy also helps with bronchial secretions and spasms by eliminating phlegm and other allergens.

Ear Infection Benefits of Halotherapy

Halotherapy can greatly relieve the swelling and pain that are common with an ear infection by penetrating the ear canal with salt particles. Salt, as an anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory agent, reduces the swelling of the tubes in your ear, allowing the fluid to drain.
Contradictions, side effects: Typically, there are no side effects, except for potential thirst. However, if someone is on any medication or suffers from any serious medical issues, please seek medical advice before any therapy. When considering any wellness services, always consult with your doctor before starting any type of treatment, especially if you are taking any medications that may be problematic or if you have any unknown health issues.
